This policy explains when fees paid to AdControl can be refunded. It applies to all services ordered through adcontrol.site and forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Nature of our services
AdControl delivers professional services, not digital goods. Fees cover strategy, account work and reporting time rather than a licensed product. Media spend paid to advertising platforms is never part of our fee and cannot be refunded by us.
2. Retainer engagements
Monthly retainers are billed in advance. If you cancel within the first 7 days of a billing period and no substantial work has been carried out, we refund the current month in full. After day 7, the current month is non-refundable and the engagement ends at the close of that period with no further invoices.
3. Audits and fixed-scope projects
One-off audits and project work are refundable in full before work begins. Once the audit has been delivered or the project has started, fees are refundable only on a pro-rata basis for deliverables not yet produced.
4. Service-failure refunds
If we fail to deliver an agreed deliverable and do not remedy it within 14 days of written notice, you may request a refund of the fee attributable to that deliverable. Refunds are not available on the basis of advertising performance alone, as platform results depend on factors outside our control.
5. Statutory withdrawal right
Consumers within the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal for contracts concluded at a distance. Where you expressly request that we begin work before the withdrawal period expires, you owe a proportionate amount for services already performed; the right lapses once the service has been fully provided at your request.
6. How to request a refund
Send your invoice number and the reason for the request to contact@adcontrol.site. We confirm receipt within two business days and decide within ten business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 14 days.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we have an opportunity to review and resolve the matter directly.
